Summer League 2002 Finals

Congratulations to Brian McFarland's purple team for their victory over Joel's "G7" a.k.a. "Great Green Gobs of Greasy Grimy Gopher Guts" on Saturday the 24th. It looked to be an easy victory for the green at first, but the purple held their composure and put together a tremendous comeback. The green made their final push at the end, but it wasn't enough to get by the purple's 4-point lead. Hope everyone had fun and in case you didn't hear, Joel Brown definitely won the party!!!





Summer league runs TUESDAY June 18th,
through Aug 20.

Fields will be @ Asbell, on Lewis and Mt. Comfort.

    Games start at 6:00 sharp, with points assessed at 6:15.

    The tournament is on Saturday, Aug 24.
    Tournament games will be held at White River/ Babe Ruth Baseball Park , off Armstrong Rd. Check with your captain for game times.
    Summer Leauge party will be held Saturday evening.

    the Field Work Day @ Marshalltown on Sunday Aug 25, 9:00 AM, followed by a general meeting @ Tiny Tim's/West Mountain Brewery, 5:00 PM.

    Money:
    If you played Winter League this year, your FDA membership is current, and you will owe 15$ for the League.
    If you’ve never played a league before you’ll need to join the FDA (10$), but the league is free.
    If you have played in a league, but your membership is not current, you will owe a whopping 25$.
