It was proposed that elections be moved to November to give the new committee time to learn and adjust to their new positions. Nominations or Volunteering for a position can be made to Kellie any time. People nominated will be asked if they accept the nominations. All nominations will be posted in the November newsletter and will be voted on at the next General Meeting to be held toward the end of November. There were not enough members to vote on this proposal, but there were no objections to this proposal. The matter will be discussed and voted on by the EC committee. Scarecrow contest: To deter birds from eating our newly planted grass seed we will be having a scarecrow contest. Make your scarecrow ASAP and place it on the new fields. Title it but don't sign it. They will be displayed at Harvest Moon for all players to vote on. The scarecrow with the most votes will win prizes and will be announced at the party. Please participate to help with the bird problem. Contact Kellie for further details or questions.
