Minutes for the February 6, 2000 Meeting of the Fayetteville Disc Association By David Wise, Secretary Harvest Moon 9 ? Unfinished business – Several people were upset that the two teams in the finals (Springfield and KC) picked up players from some of the other teams for the final game. According to Schmuecker, the men's tourney director for HM9; the FDA rules state that any variation on the game is permitted if both captains agree to the changes. Since we didn't specifically forbid it, he allowed them to pick up players. A motion was made to specifically outlaw this practice at all future Fayetteville tournaments. It passed unanimously. ? Joy Endicott, women's tournament director for HM9, announced that several Towanda members still owe Harvest entry fees. Pay up, sisters! ? Tony raised the question of why the annual spirit award was not presented at the HM party. Apparently, in the chaos and revelry of the moment, it was forgotten. A motion was made to give the award at the winter League party from now on since it is a Fayetteville-specific award. The motion passed. ? Treasurer John Schmuecker reported that we made about $1800 on HM9. Most of it came from entry fees and merchandise. We lost money on the party, as usual. Harvest Moon 10 ?
