FDA EC Meeting

Meeting begins at 9:15PM at Karl’s house.

9:15 PM: Talk about how much to have people pay at the door.  We will charge 10 dollars to get into the front and 20 to get into the back.  People will pay 15 in advance.  Brian is handling the front part.  We will hopefully have our own wrist bands to give to people, but are still checking with George’s on that.  Allow Frisbee folks to enter on the side and they will get George’s arm bands when they get there.  No more charging of 10 dollars per player over 15.  Heather is women’s TD, Jacob is College TD, and Phil is Open TD.  

10:00PM: Discs ordered 50 more discs.  Also going to buy 100 more FDA discs.  Not getting short sleeve shirts.  We are going to get 25 zips and 25 pullovers.  We decided on black, irish green, and cardinal red for the pullovers and zips.  We decided on navy, eggplant and pistachio for the shirts. We also decided to order 250 long sleeve and no short sleeve.  

10:30PM: Discuss the allocation of funds to club division teams.  We would like to develop a better system for deciding how the funds are distributed.  Decided to wait til next meeting to delve into further.  Votes were initiated and cast on the following issues:

4-1 with one abstention for 500 for Homewreckers for regionals 2008.  6-0 for a cap of 500 dollars for 2008 for all the competitive divisions.  4 votes for and 2 votes against for cutting entry fee for the highschool kids in half for Harvest Moon.  

11:00PM: Next EC meeting set for November 9th, 2008 at 8:00 PM at Phil’s house.
