Present: Karl, Phil, Justin, Brosh, April, Andrea, and Jacob 

 

Discussed Brosh Hat- FDA will allocate $1000 to front tourney

      -talked about getting kegs from John S.

      -Brosh will prep fields

      -Karl and Brosh will do food

      -call Potty House to set up 

 

Winter League 2009

      -215 participated, up from 188 from 2008

      -180 eligible for tourney

      -$1410 in league dues

      -$2760 in FDA dues

      -spent too much on winter league party – approx $1500

      -tournament format discussed

      -discussed tourney formatting – how much say should captains get?

            -set up finals for every team to get chance to win or have B brackets

                  motion made by brosh that up to 16 teams, every team will get chance to play to win finals,

                        seconded by Justin

                        – vote passed 4-3 

Dog Policy: kept the same, but have captains make complaints 

 

Summer League – hope to expand to 10 teams

      -have tourney August 8th

      -try to have 15/16 per team

      -talked about cheaper t-shirts – gotham a possibility

      -talked about taking $$ for league online using paypal

      -need designs 

 

Newsletter -  move towards online 

 

ADA – starting June 14th and 16th 

 

Talked about setting up text messaging or possible hotline 

still have Harvest merch to sell 

Talk to Schmeucher about selling FDA memberships to non-players 

 

Dan Gabor

      -fields reserved for Lewis and Asbell

      -goal to get 20 teams

      -Andrea proposed to have games to 9

      -Phil proposed to make it a 2-day tourney in the future

      -cost $135/team

      -Hess’s idea: 2-day tourney, 1st day savage, 2nd day hat tourney

      -want to make Gabor a bigger tourney in future

      -party??  - maybe out at Phil’s 

 

More FDA events for kids and high school students

      -track meet

      -scrimmage w/ Bentonville HS

      -talk to FAC about a clinic 

 

Harvest Moon fields are reserved

      -party at phil’s parents, no george’s 

 

FHS kids got invited to nationals – can FDA help out w/ cost?

      -will they help out FDA

      -how much to give? Phil to get amount needed 

Allocation $$ - if you want FDA money, need to do work

      -will get word out that if you want $$ for your club, you’ll need to volunteer first 

 

Participating in Parks Dept Recreational Day through Lewis & Clark on April 25th
