It was agreed that we should sell the damaged pipe for scrap, approximately 10-10 pieces. This should be settled before the general election. - Where do we store the pump and pipes? It was agreed upon by those present that we rent a storage unit for 3-6 months, depending on cost to store all FDA items: pump and irrigation pipes and T's, portable shower, pumpkins, display boards, signs, etc. at this time it is all stored in Kellie's garage, except the pumpkins which are at Joy's. All articles need to be sent to Tony ASAP. Thank you ad to go into local papers It was suggest by Amy that a letter to the editor be written in to the papers with thanks included. This is a way to say thanks without spending money. Kellie will be working on the letter in the next week. Tournament Coordinator Report given by Joy Endicott: Note that she was not present, responses under each topic were discussed by present officers Harvest Moon discussion-Pro's and Con's - Awards John Schmuecker was not happy with no awards to be given to the B pool, however Jeff made the point that the tournament is not set up with a B pool in the beginning. By giving an award to the winner of the losing division, it is giving an award to the 9th place team. ***** It was proposed that a B pool be designated for the teams that do not wish to play such competitive teams that they would face in the A pool for Harvest Moon 11. John was also "embarrassed" to give a small wooden trophy to the 2nd place team, because in the past they received a big one. It was also noted that John S. was not informed that the winner would not get their entry fee returned. - Raffle prizes Kellie suggested that raffle prized be eliminated from the party because it is not worth the time it takes for the money that is generated. It was suggested by Amy that if we wanted to do a raffle, that it is held during the finals on Sunday. Raffle tickets can be sold throughout the day and a drawing can be held at 1/2 time, winners announced and teams thanked at this time by the TD. - Painted pumpkins There were complains about the silver painted pumpkins; they were too hard to see. It should be noted that more pumpkins be purchased next year with available funds, and that members should keep an eye out for them at garage sales, trash, etc. New Business: Set date for general meeting and elections The next general meeting will be held on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 28th AT HOFFBRAU AT 6:30.
