Membership dues & cards - approximately 25% collected. Still one more sponsor for FDA card to be attained. Currently OBC, Fleet Feet, George’s, & Pesto Cafe are sponsors.
The tractor loan will currently be paid monthly. After we have an estimate of how much Marshall Town field development will cost, we will make a decision about a larger loan payment. Amy is still getting in touch with Michael Watson about his welding bill.

Springfest - agreed unanimously to participating Springfest. Wayne is to fill out application and organize. Will get in touch with city about location questions.
Summer Bash - Jon to talk to Joe Garrett about organizing again.
Art Show - Soonest available slot is April ‘03.
Slave auction at winter league party - need to get volunteers and auction them off at the party, volunteers do 4 hours of service, starting bids - $10.

VP Report - Lance -
Marshalltown project - Grass is in good condition, doesn’t need mowing presently. Mr. Pinneo is renting the northwest area of land to Tune concrete for a period of time. We will need to divert the runoff between two of the fields, but that should be no problem. He has also given us permission to put the trailer on the land by the mound of dirt so we can build a ramp into it. The brush hog is in line to be repaired and Lance’s father has a blade we can use to level the ground. Lance is also checking into the aluminum pipes; if any are damaged, sell them off as scrap.
Parks meeting update - The city is waiting to hear if they have two soccer tourneys the weekend before and after Dan Gabor Tourney. If so, we are being asked to move the tourney to Hidden Valley (goat fields). They will help fix them so they are playable. The baseball field adjacent may also be available for use and parking. Wayne talked to the VFW and can get back in touch if needed.
Amy to make reservations with city for practice at walker park.
Adopt a Park - Lance is contacting Lisa Paschal at the city tomorrow.

Tournament Coordinators Report - Bygod -
Winter league - All is going well since the first weekend. Will will have award ballots next week for each team. There will be 7 different awards. Instead of certificates, we’ll let each winner pick something from all the extra merchandise that we have. Jeff Fowlkes is organizing winter league party at George’s for February 23rd. Jon is checking to see if Mid Life Crisis is still playing, we will provide gas money and some T-shirts.
DGS7 ‘02 - Waiting to hear from the city about where we will be playing. Wayne to TD tourney.
Harvest Moon - Will is checking to see if there is a home football game on October 26th or November 2nd. Amy will contact Joey Gray with UPA and register Harvest so hopefully it will not conflict with nationals.
